Final Strike Games is looking for a Lead Gameplay Engineer to build the future of multiplayer gaming. As a Lead Gameplay Engineer at Final Strike Games you will help build the architecture and systems of our multiplayer games. The ideal candidate is able to thrive in a fast paced and ambiguous environment, experience in managing a small to large team, Unreal Engine experience, and a deep understanding of gameplay networking.
Work closely with designers, artists, and animators to develop new software systems
Monitor performance, security, and network reliability of gameplay systems
Develop test cases and integrate with the QA team
Self-manage time and responsibilities when given prioritized goals and objectives
Hire, manage, and mentor the gameplay engineering team.
At least 2 shipped title as a Lead Engineer and 6 years experience.
Have deep and current knowledge of multiplayer gameplay programming
Strong programming skills in C/C++
Strong management and leadership skills
Experience with gameplay networking including prediction, replication, and lag compensation
Absolute passion for playing and making console and PC games.
Advanced Knowledge of business tools such as Microsoft office and google docs
Excellent written and verbal communication in the English language
Current ability to work in the US is preferred but International candidates will be considered based on experience
