Final Strike Games (FSG) is seeking a dynamic HR professional to help us with our continued growth.  The HR generalist has both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer important functions, including, but not limited too, staffing, training and development, payroll, employee relations, compensation, and benefits. At FSG we understand that our business thrives when our people thrive, and that starts by hiring the right HR professional. 

 Objectives and Day-to-Day Responsibilities: 

  • Manage hiring and on-boarding of all new hires and onsite contractors

  • Facilitate the process of all annual performance reviews, employee status changes, and related paperwork

  • Monitor and record time-off appropriately and in compliance with all local, state and federal laws

  • Assist in preparing semi-monthly payroll

  • Manage enrollment, changes, and termination of medical benefits

  • Manage off-boarding of all separations including the onsite contractors

  • Assist in facilitating company morale events and activities 

  • Complete I-9’s and manage documentation

  • Miscellaneous HR related projects as needed

  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required

  • Ensure employee advocacy and fairness 

  • Manage the recruitment process to fill job openings with the assistance of various hiring managers

  • Suggest new procedures, policies, and programs to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to always be improving the employee experience

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years of HR Generalist experience or HR-related role

  • Adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment

  • Strong knowledge of current HR functions, trends, and best practices

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills 

  • Excellent documentation skills, with strong attention to detail

  • Success in maintaining highly confidential and sensitive information

  • Knowledge of current state and federal employment/labor laws and HR policies

  • Experience in developing and maintaining internal HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook  

  • Performs duties with a high level of professionalism and discretion

  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Solid computer skills in MS Office and Google Suite

 Nice to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field of study or equivalent experience

  • Game Industry experience is a plus!
